- we both got into it i guess as it was interesting as to how people take singular sounds put em together and how they can turn singular sounds into amazing music made on a shitty little computer in your bedroom
What are your weapons of choice? We use FL10/ Logic Pro and Native Instruments Komplete

Murkage - originating from the creation of underground electronics, Manchester town. This punk/grime/dubstep band are showing artists around the world that music doesn't have to have a set sound. Their originality has given them the opportunity to feature on the world-renowned BBC introducing.. These guys are huge already; yet they're potential is endless. Gaika of "Murkage" is a good friend of mine, and has some very insightful views on the way things should be. If you are wanting a more inspirational interview then this guy is your man. I really hope you guys give this a good read and relate to what this man says.
Here what Gaika has to say.
What got you into producing? How did it all start for you?
- Erm kind of fell into it, we had a club night and it devloped from there. Once we decided to start making our own music everything followed from that.
What are your weapons of choice?- We use logic and a lot of old school synthesisers.
Do you have any future goals?Dude, i jus wanna rock the boat man, change shit, there are things going on in this country that we need to speak about- The separation of art and politics is a fallacy. The idea that to be creative you have to be stupid, blind or 'worthy' is all about control. We wont be controlled
Top 10 artists?- Prince
- Kanye west
- Fugazi
- NWA
- A million grime crews from the 90s
- Ian brown
Massive attackBiggie- RATM

Clearly this guy is someone to look out for, not forgetting the rest of the murkage crew! They have been smashing there own original scene for a while now, and already have a huge amount of recognition, but this still isnt enough for such a band as Murkage.
Here is an example of whats to come from these amazing artists.
