Scalade is one of the most recent members to the Undersky community, his deep, dark, melodic, soundtracks bring electronic music to a new level. With tracks like Poison being dropped on dubstep.fm, we know this guy is gonna go far. This is his interview.
What got you into producing? How did it all start for you?
- Well, I got into producing cause my mates at college were doing it, and music has always been really important for me, so i felt inspired to be creative and get out there myself.
What are your weapons of choice? - I started on logic express on college macs then I moved onto cubase at home, also using reason for some productions.
When did you start? - I started about 4 months ago, June 2011, when I made my first track called "Twisted Paths."
Do you have any future goals? - I'm not massively concerned about how far any of it takes me, I just want to enjoy doing it for as long as i can. My personal goals have already been achieved for the most part. One day, I would love to have a release on a major label in the scene.
Who are your main influences? - My influences are from all corners of electronic music. I get ideas from listening to almost anything, but i focus my own work on the deep and dark areas of dubstep and garage, it's a vibe that suits me. Artists such as DJ Madd, Benton, Compa, Seven, Sleeper & District, Distance, Cyrus, Catacombs, are all pushing the sounds I feel the most, but the list could go on forever..
And now to my favourite question..Who are your Top 10 artists at the moment?DistanceKryptic MindsPinchDigital MystikzCompaSynkroDJ MaddJ:KenzoTMSVBenton

Within the four months Scalade has been producing, he has smashed it to say the least. I think this guy deserves a huge amount of credit for what he has achieved.
We will be expecting an Exclusive Usky Sessions mix from Scalade in the near future - for now though, here is a dutty Vip of one of his tracks.
Peace for now!
