Tell me a little about yourself, Nwike?
I started producing about three years ago. Before then, I had to rely on other producers because all I wanted to do was rap. But our schedules never matched so in the end me and my mate M.DOT started with Reason, then Pro tools, then I took up Logic and, finally, Ableton. We have totally different styles now - I love bass and he loves soul.
Who are your main influences in the industry?
I can't say anymore i'm torn between too many genres now to decide, but Biggie is my main rap influence, and Howling Wolf made me love blues music and wanna do vocals. Beats wise, there's an ocean of talented people, above and underground... regardless, we are all undersky, no?
